New Patient

firstvisit

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends a child have their first oral/dental examination between 12-18 months. This first visit will consist of a comprehensive oral exam and cleaning. This early examination will provide a baseline for future exams. It is important to detect decay early to lessen the need for more extensive restorative treatment.

New Patients

We would like to thank you for choosing our practice for your child's dental care. We hope to make your child's first appointment with us an enjoyable experience. Our new patient appointment, unless an emergency visit, would consist of an examination, cleaning, X-rays and fluoride treatment. Dr. Cox will meet with you before seeing your child and discuss any concerns you may have. Once the procedures have been completed, any treatment recommendations will be discussed with you. We welcome you to our practice! See below for more information about our office.

New Patient Information

Our new patient families will receive an e-mail with an account number and PIN prior to your scheduled appointment. If you are unable to access this information, or if you do not have an e-mail account, please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to complete this process. The legal guardian must be present for the new patient visit.

Insurance Information

Please have your dental and medical insurance cards with you. If your employer does not issue a dental insurance card, please have all necessary information to file claims, such as dental insurance company name, address and telephone number; group and subscriber ID numbers. It is the responsibility of the insured to know your plan's limitations.
